Rental cottage on a slope overlooking a pine forest and a pond in Sysmä in southern Finland!
This planed log cottage stands on a slope overlooking a pine forest and an own pond amidst tranquil lakeland scenery. The afternoon sun shines on the yard and brings ambiance even on summer evenings. In the wintertime a ski track starts right from the doorstep and winds through the pine forest. In summer the track serves as a walking or jogging path offering an experience in total harmony with nature. Vesan Villa is also close to amenities, only seven kilometers away from the shops in Sysmä.
Built in 2006, it is a five star log cottage for year-round use. This 120-square-meter two-storey cottage and its three bedrooms plus an additional bed in the hall upstairs and a cot offer plenty of room for comfortable accommodation. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The holiday laundry is easily done in a washing machine and dried in a drying cabinet or outside in the sunshine. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is tableware for twelve persons. After bathing in the wood-heated sauna it’s nice to relax by the fireplace.
The forest pond near Vesan Villa receives its fresh water from springs, and from the pond a small brook runs into the lake. According to heritage, the water originates in a spring which was used as a drinking spot for the cattle. The fresh pond water offers refreshing swimming water for holiday makers staying in the cottage. At the end of the jetty the pond is about three meters deep, so swimmers can safely jump into the water. Lake Suojärvi is about 800 meters away. SEE THE FLOOR PLAN.
Pets and smoking
Pets are allowed in Vesan Villa, just notify us in advance. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.
Lakeside sauna
The lakeside sauna is at your disposal in the summertime, the owner heats the sauna (see the price list).
The sauna inside the cottage can be used year-round, just heat it whenever you want.
